Derek tragically died on the 13th june 2000 aged only 32 after taking his own life, he left behind him a loving Mum & Dad and quite a large family which included Roy, Mark, David, Kim, Pam, Tina, Andrew, Stephen, Darren, Rachael and Chris and all his nephews and neices. he was a quiet lad who kept himself to himself, he loved fishing. he took on a woman and her children who i know he loved very much, but which turned out to be his downfall, because the woman he loved, cheated on him behind his back, (the truth has never come out and perhaps it never will) this was obviously too much for him to take and sadly he decided there was only one way out.

Dad i wish i got to no you, i wish we could off gone on a fishing trip together, i wish i could off talked to u when i need to, i am sorry i didnt get to meet you ,i just wanted 1 day that was all.
